WestfordCAT Production Coordinator, Patty Stocker,  chats via Zoom with Westford Health Director, Jeff Stephens, to get an update on COVID-19. Some of the things discussed are the number of reported cases in Westford, what residents should do if they exhibit symptoms, where to get supplies if one is housebound, what are considered “essential businesses” that remain open, and more.

“There are people that have lots of medical supplies”, says Stephens. “If you’ve got extra supplies such as N95 masks, if you’ve got extra gloves, if you’ve got extra hand sanitizer, your first responders are the first on the line trying to help you out…so we’re more than happy to take donations at the Health Department.”

Stephens ends with this message. “I want to say to people just to stay positive. Stick with the rules and I think we are all going to get through this just fine.”

Contact the Westford Health Department with any questions or concerns at 978-692-5509 or email Jeff Stephens at jstephens@westfordma.gov.
