The Finance Committee and Select Board met on March 5 to discuss whether to recommend Article 8 which at the March 28 annual Town Meeting. The article seeks voters to approve using or borrowing funds for the design and construction of a new building at 51 Main St. The site was once occupied by the Fire Department.
Also, Town Engineer Paul Starratt updated the Planning Board on March 2 of the ongoing installation of the traffic light at the intersection of Groton and Dunstable Roads.
Starratt said he has installed eight traffic signals during his tenure, but this one is the most important.
