April 25 brush chipping or May 2 electronics collections canceled

The Recycling Commission voted on April 9 to cancel the brush chipping event scheduled for April 25 and the electronics collection scheduled for May 2, in light of Gov. Charlie Baker’s state of emergency requesting residents to avoid coming into contact with the deadly coronavirus.

New dates will be picked after the dust settles, according to Recycling Commissioner Ellen Harde.
