— Seven-year-old Buddy is a domestic shorthair/mix cat who was brought into the the Lowell Humane Society in August — because his owners were having trouble taking care of him. Weighing — 25 pounds, Buddy is on a special diet that his new owners will need to maintain. The shelter’s Fundraising and Communications Director, Crystal Arnott, describes him as shy and “pretty laid back.” He will do best in a home that will give him time to adjust to his new surroundings. Once comfortable, he does really well.
Buddy is also very vocal. “He’s a very chatty boy,” said Arnott. “He talks to you….he likes to tell you when he’s happy. He likes to tell you when he’s upset.”
Buddy is available now for adoption at the Lowell Humane Society. Interested adopters can call the shelter at 978-452-7781 or email info@lowellhumanesociety.org to schedule an appointment.
