For the first time in the history of the Community Christmas Chorus, the members’ annual Concert will be virtual this year. The chorus has been presenting a concert for years every December at First Parish Church United to benefit the Westford Food Pantry.
This year, because of the pandemic, the group put together a virtual concert for Westford’s community access television station, WestfordCAT. The concert includes a carol sing-a-long and a performance from Westford Suzuki School’s faculty strings trio.
The final two shows will air on Friday, Dec. 18, at 1:30 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 19, at 9 p.m. The group is urging viewers to watch the show and donate online or by check to the pantry. Donation instructions can be found at www.westfordfoodpantry.org.
WestfordCAT airs on Channel 8 for Comcast customers, and Channel 35 for Verizon customers.
