Energetic and playful, 11-month-old Layla is a Staffordshire Terrier puppy looking for an active adopter who enjoys the outdoors. “She is looking for a home where she can have an adopter who is active and willing to run around with her and be crazy with her,” said Lindsey Andella, volunteer coordinator at the Lowell Humane Society. “Also (someone) to help her work on different skills. She’s a very intelligent dog.”
According to Andella, Layla would do best in a home with teens or adults “who would work on her training like ‘paw’ or ‘lie down’. She would absolutely love that.” Layla also would do best in a home with a big yard where she could run around and with an adopter who would take her for plenty of walks. “She even loves to go swimming,” Andella said.
