Five-year-old Henny is a long haired chihuahua featured by WestfordCAT once before. When he was surrendered to the Lowell Humane Society in March, he was shy and scared but since having been moved to his foster home, he has flourished. According to foster parent Kerri Sutherland, it took Henny a couple of weeks to warm up to her at the shelter but only a day and half to warm up to her husband in a home environment.

“In general he is a total lap dog,” said Sutherland. “He really just likes to be with his people. He will sit in your lap all day.”

Henny also enjoys being outside running around in the yard. He will do best in an adult only home where he can just “sit and chill.”

Henny is available now for adoption through the Lowell Humane Society. Interested adopters can call the shelter at 978-452-7781 or email info@lowellhumanesociety.org to schedule an appointment to meet him.
