Shelter Communications and Fundraising Director, Crystal Arnott, describes rats as social, smart animals that like to explore and play. “Well handled, socialized rats are a great option for kids”, said Arnott. ADOPTABLE PET: This “Velveteen Einstein” is in Search of a Forever Home

Thirteen year old Einstein is a medium hair, tuxedo cat who likes to play with wand toys as much as he likes to snuggle. He will do best in a home with older children/adults as he is a bit feisty but he is described as sweet and friendly by the Lowell Humane Society staff.
